Description
Dantron is a naturally derived anthraquinone derivative used as a laxative agent. It is used as an API in the formulation of oral laxatives, particularly for the treatment of chronic or opioid-induced constipation in palliative care or for veterinary applications. Dantron acts directly on the colonic mucosa to stimulate peristalsis and facilitate bowel movements.
