Description
Dithranol is a synthetic derivative of chrysarobin and widely used as a topical antipsoriatic agent. It is primarily prescribed for the treatment of chronic plaque psoriasis. Its therapeutic action is attributed to the inhibition of DNA synthesis and the reduction of keratinocyte hyperproliferation.
